IZ Hero is an edutainment program that was originally developed by infollutionZERO, a non-profit organization based in South Korea. This program was subsequently developed in collaboration with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the National Institute of Education (NIE) in Singapore, in hopes to bring awareness to children aged between 6 and 13 on responsible digital citizenship and character development. The exhibition held at the Singapore Science Centre in March 2013, provided a safe and fun interactive experience for children to naturally learn about moral self-identity, empathy, and critical thinking.
Our current generation is mostly exposed to a digital environment, unlike previous generations. The IZ Hero program therefore aims to educate and bring out the Hero within our children living in this 21st century.
